Listen to lullabies from around the world.
We all start life the same, yet we follow our unique path. We live in different countries and speak different languages but we have one common language, music! ''Lullabies of the World, Unite!'' brings together languages and music to share in the diversity of this world with parents and their babies.

As a child, I remember listening to a Russian lullaby Sverchok (Criket). Written by Latvian poet Aspazija and put to music by composer Raimonds Pauls, the beautiful and heartfelt song featured in a romantic film, the Long Road in the Dunes. I recorded the song in London with musician John Milner on the guitar. I then decided to record a few more lullabies in Russian and English as a gift to my friends and colleagues who gave birth. I then thought why not add other languages and in all recorded 12 traditional lullabies from different countries. I have since started composing my own in English which you will also find on this website. The next step is to create an online community of parents from around the world who will contribute lullabies they sing to their little ones. Please share, join in and bring your family and friends!
Singing is my passion! I was born near Moscow during the Russian winter and was brought up listening to my parents' lullabies. I have traveled the world as a journalist and after working in Moscow and London I moved to Brussels. I love many genres of music and have sung in folk and classical choirs, a street theater in Venice and rock bands in Russia, the UK and Belgium.
Yours, Lyubov Pronina.
